“A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth.”
Don't get me wrong, I like Theresa a lot, I do, but it's about time Nick got his Grimm powers back.
Poor Rosalee and Monroe,
first their wedding was kinda ruined, then they couldn’t go to their honeymoon
out of loyalty to Nick, and now they are being harassed by mixed-wesen-marriage
haters. It’s escalating as well, first the brick through the window, now mailbox
set on fire. What’s next? One thing is for sure Nick needs his Grimm back. Which
is obviously happening, since seeing their friends in danger was what Juliette
needed to change her mind. Nick has already made up his mind. That scene at the
end when he shared his deepest feelings about being a Grimm with Monroe was precious gold.
Nick actually likes being a Grimm. I don’t believe we ever heard him say it
before.
Now, let’s talk about the
wacky awkward sex-spell reversal procedure. Juliette has to repeat every step of the
spell that Adalind took and then make love to Nick looking like Adalind. Somehow
I think Nick has been dealt the worst cards in this predicament. Imagine him making love to
Juliette looking like Adalind! But like Trubel and Monroe said it is not about
romance, it’s about getting it done. Not that that makes it any easier. They
mentioned it several times that they had to do exactly everything in reverse.
Does that concern only the spell part or also the sex part? Because that would be intolerably hard, but fun to
watch, not that I think they will show us the details.
So, I was right about
Adalind, she was sort of imagining the whole thing and Victor was behind this
torture. As fun as it was seeing Adalind chase after herself, one time would
have been enough. It very quickly became repetitive. Thank God, it’s over and
now they can move onto the next phase, which is I assume working together to
find the baby. Question though – why wouldn’t Victor simply tell her the truth
and avoid all this nonsense?
The case of the week was
refreshingly interesting and unexpected in a way that it wasn’t clear for a
long time who is the culprit. The fact that there were four of them was an
interesting turn. Talk about a sadistic way to get you wealthy wife to the
ground.
Wu is still in the dark and
acting more and more hostile towards Nick. At least he is not losing his mind,
though his sense of humor is getting somewhat on a dark side.
Some observations
Opening credits have changed
again, back to its shortened version. Not good!
Apparently what Elizabeth did to save
Sean’s life was a one time deal. And apparently it has cost her a lot.
In the Grimm world the ideas
for Halloween came from people’s believe that wesen are just wearing masks.
Ava’s hospital room had a
number 405.
Memorable Quotes:
Juliette: “Wait.
If I do this, and I transform into Adalind, it's still me, right? I mean, I
would know it's me.”
Monroe: “Yes. And Nick would know it's
you. And presumably you would know that Nick knows that it's you.”
Rosalee: “Maybe
think of it like wearing a costume.”
Nick: “A
costume of a woman who tried to kill me.”
Elizabeth: “I would suggest a very dark room.”
Oh, my!
Nick: “A
wolf?”
Wu: “She
didn't say if it was two-legged or four-legged, but she was pretty adamant about
it talking to her.”
Sol’s
rating: I loved it lot, so I'm giving it 5 out of 5.
