In nothing else is he poor.”

Nick: “Be careful!”
Trubel: “I know. I'm the only Grimm in town.”
She might be the only Grimm in town, but she is not the police. After she confirmed the suspect is Wesen, there was no reason why Hank and Nick couldn't run the surveillance themselves. Instead they left her there with no car, no money, no weapon (granted, she doesn't need one), so she could do their police work for them. Come on!
She did quite well following the octopus,
though she does need some training – she was a bit sloppy – leaving actual
bread crumbs and approaching a house so openly, but she did have a presence of
mind to close her eyes when Tom decided to woge the first time, so he couldn’t
see she’s a Grimm beforehand. She also put up a hell of a fight, right up until
the point he got his octopus hands on her.
Oh, my! I thought she was toast. Thank god she survived. From the looks
of it if the memory stealing procedure is interrupted, then only some memories
got eaten, the rest stay intact. Not for the attacker though. Those few
memories of wesen world that he managed to steel from Theresa will haunt him
forever. What a very
fitting punishment for crimes committed.
Even thought Trubel survived the attack, she did seem a bit different in
the morning. She was particularly craving for bacon. Has she always? I don’t recall.
Maybe I’m imagining things. Either way poor girl can’t catch a break, now she is in FBI custody, or is
she? Either FBI is doing the lousy job investigating Grimm, because by now they
should have guessed it’s Nick, or she’s working for someone else. As if the
kidnapping wasn’t enough, sergeant Wu now suspect Trubel is a homicidal maniac. They
better tell him asap. It’s getting ridiculous.
I think Nick loosing his powers for a time being is a wonderful
possibility to explore his character without grimness attached. But I'm afraid they won't have time, since our
captain is back to life and it's only a matter of time before he tells them about Adalind’s magic garage.
I was quite certain there is
no Grimm universe in which Sean Renard dies, not yet at least, but I thought
his Hexenbiest powers will heal him, as it turned out those weren’t enough.
Good God, dear young mommy showed up when she did. I tend to avoid spoilers and
never research a character online, I much prefer to learn everything in it’s
proper time. But even without spoilers I had a suspicion she’s his mother, her
age however made me skeptical of that development. Forget the age! She is his
mother! She’s just ‘had a little work done’.
In the first season we saw Adalind’s mom, then we were introduced to mama-Grimm, then we got to know
Monroe’s parents and Rosalee’s family, it is only appropriate we finally meet
the Elizabeth Lascelles, the woman who stole the King's heart and gave birth to
Sean. Come to think of it she did it twice. She literally pumped some of the
life force from her heart to Renard’s through the snake-type tube. She can also
stop time. How very cool!
Somewhere in Austria…
Adalind’s got herself locked up in a prison cell that was built for Hexenbiests. Cell with rats and someone crazy next door. That can't be good.
Despite what she did to Nick, I feel sorry for her. And what the hell was that
body-jumping thing at the end? It wasn’t Adalind doing, nor was it Nick. Who
was doing it? Victor?
Some observations
Octopus was staying in room
4x02.
Wow, Juliette! Really?! Nick
might have mentioned it would probably be better not being Grimm, but
he never said he didn’t want it back. I didn’t like how she decided everything for
him and even went to Monroe and Rosalee behind his back.
I might be wrong, but I
think Octopus was the first wesen that kept some human features in his full
woged state. Usually all face is changed, here it was just parts. They are usually
good with all the effects, this one looked sloppy, like half a mask.
Memorable Quotes:
Monroe: “What's wrong? I mean,
other than everything that's not right.”
Elizabeth: “So I'm a grandmother.”
Sean: “Not that you look it.”
You don't say!
