“Oh, remember that you fashioned me from clay! Will you then bring me down to dust?”
Monroe: "No, no, hear us out, and then you can "uh-oh.""
That was literally the best part of an episode. I wish we have spent more
time focusing on the main problems instead of ping-ponging all over the place.
I know they can’t tell us all the answers right away, otherwise the season will
be extremely short. I just wish we had more scenes at Spice Shop, those were so
much fun. I wish we had more Sean, he had nowhere near enough screen time. At
least the case of the week wasn't boring and the next episode shapes to be much better.
It was as good time as any to introduce Grimm’s version of Golem
narrative. At least it made the case of the week somewhat original and them
chasing chunk of clay was very entertaining. It must have been so refreshing
for Nick to finally being able to see something supernatural.
So let me get this straight, for Adalind to be able to perform the ritual
she had to be pregnant at one point, had to loose her powers at another point
with a mandatory blood-sharing with Grimm part. Sounds like a hell lot of requirements
that were all somehow surprisingly met. Talk about magic that is TV.
It made sense though that they would need Juliette to reverse the spell,
since she (well at least her body) played a pivotal role in the original spell.
Considering how much Juliette doesn’t want Nick to get his powers back, will
she do it? I can’t wait to see who else has to do what else to return Nick his
powers. I bet it will be fascinating.
Nothing more on Trubel’s “secret group” thing, other than she was smart
enough to tell Nick the truth.
Again nothing new with sergeant Wu, other than him becoming very obviously
suspicious of Nick and telling on him to Captain, who finally and thankfully is
out of hospital bed and back at work.
Some observations
I believe Elizabeth is the ugliest Hexenbiest we have
seen so far.
I have no clue as to what
the heck is going on with Adalind. My working theory is that she’s somehow
imagining all these things and Victor is behind this elaborate torture.
Sara’s hospital room number
was 404.
The faces in the walls that
Adalind was seeing were very realistically well done.
Dudes in masks from previous
episode were absolutely irrelevant to the story, at least for now. I guess
Monroe and Rosalee won’t get away that easy with being happily ever after.
Memorable Quotes:
Hank: “I've
heard of Russian mob guys pouring cement down an informant's throat, but Clay's
a first.”
Nick: “Where
would they get it all?”
Wu: “Maybe
they brought a cement mixer...With a lot of Clay in it.”
Trubel: “Whoa,
wait a minute. You're saying there's more than just wesen?”
Nick: “Yeah,
actually.”
Trubel: “Oh,
great. Just when I was getting a handle on this.”
Hank: “Residue
from the jar matches the Clay at the crime scene.”
Nick: “So
we have a murder weapon.”
Hank: “All
we need is a "how in the hell," and we got this one wrapped up.”
Nick: “And
how do we arrest a golem?”
Hank: “Or
Ben praying for one.”
Hank: “We
can't put an A.P.B. out on a mud slick.”
Sol’s
rating: I’d give 3. What do you think?
