Nick: “I don't think there are
gonna be any winners in this one.”
Well, we are headed towards
final two episodes, and everything is set up for a big take down. Knowing
Grimm, someone will die. Or loose their head. Or both.
I absolutely loved that Nick didn’t question Adalind’s actions. She was
doing what was right for her children. And he understood that. Of course, like
I said in the previous review it would have been smarter to leave Kelly behind.
But then the Black Claw wouldn’t have leverage against Grimm. I understand that
it was necessary plot-wise, I just wished they did it differently, because now
it looks like Adalind just gave them THE card against Nick. At least she stayed
loyal to him, refusing to disclose their home address, and taking several taxis
to get to them to avoid surveillance. Make no mistake, Black Claw she is not of
your side. Good job, Adalind.
During her heated discussion with Sean she seemed to be the sane one of
the two of them. Not long ago it was the other way around. Adalind is a mother
now and is not looking for fun times. She is also not blind and is perfectly
aware of her daughter’s powers. And, boy, they are getting creepier. That
little girl can manipulate minds and overcome the will, which is really scary.
The way she made Sean and Adalind hold hands was just a glimpse of what she can
do. I do not envy Rachel, who is too obviously showing her affection for Sean.
Diana wants mommy and daddy together, that doesn’t bode well for Rachel. Nor
for Nick, for that matter.
Another heated conversation Sean had was with Nick and I believe that was
the first one with all the masks off. Oh, my God! Sean really believes this
shit, he truly is behind the ideas of a wesen world! Right up until that second
I was secretly hoping he’s playing them somehow. I don’t want to loose him, because
I like the character, although they weren’t too successful this season with his
story, and he became completely intolerable, but please don’t kill him. Smack
him hard on the head so his brains would fall back in place, but don’t kill him
off.
Rosalee and Monroe kept giving good advices right and left. They are great
friends to have, especially in the time of crisis. As is HW, if decide to start
actually doing something. Right now they aren’t that efficient. They had Diana
taken away right under their noses, and I don’t really like how Juliette raises
her ugly head from within Eve and spreads doubt about Adalind.
Some observations
Episode’s opening quote was the one of Tennessee Williams: “We have to distrust each
other. It is our only defense against betrayal”.
Loved how Monroe
locked the door. Like that would stop Nick from getting out, or anyone else
from getting in.
Wu seems to be dealing with his condition rather efficiently… in the
safety of his house with no one to attack.
Finally, finally Hank’s fake girlfriend was caught! I was all Yay when
Eve started torturing her.
Nick keeps getting Black Claw members off the face of the earth and
Trubel keeps updating her database.
Now Trubel is the only one
besides Nick who knows where the healing stick is hidden. How much you want to
bet she will have to use it. Against Diana, perhaps?
Memorable Quotes:
Sean: “She
obviously wants us together. Whether we want it or not.”
Nick: “Where's
my son?”
Sean: “He's
safe.”
Nick: “You're
not.”
Sean:
“Neither are you.”
And just like that they are enemies.
Trubel: “It's
not Pandora's box, is it?”
Nick: “We're
not really sure, but... we've already opened it.”
Eve: “I
think there is a choice even when there appears to be none, but it's the
reaction that determines whether the choice is good or bad, not the person who
makes it.”
Trubel: “And
what would Juliette think?”
Eve: “I
don't go there.”
So there is a ‘there’ to go to… Not liking it.
Not one bit.
Sol’s rating: Crazy one, I’ll give it a 4.
